Robert Friedmann is director of the Georgia International Law Enforcement Exchange and professor emeritus of criminal justice at Georgia State University’s Andrew Young School of Policy Studies. His interests and published work focus on community policing, terrorism and crime analysis, particularly in Israel. He works closely with a number of police departments in the U.S. and abroad on community policing and homeland security.
